Fall
The lakeshore communities of West Michigan do a fantastic job of hosting events and activities that include the whole family. There's so much happening that is geared specifically toward kids and families as a whole, and that's part of what makes being here so amazing!

Every season in West Michigan has it's unique, fun things to do for kids of all ages- from babies up to the "young at heart". Indoors or outdoors, no matter the time of year, there's always something great going on along the lakeshore for families to experience together!

Here's a list of family friendly events happening along the lakeshore in September:



Thursday, September 19th, 5pm


Spartan Sportsmans Banquet at Graystone Event Center, U.S. 10, Ludington. Dinner, activities, raffles, silent auction, memberships. $30 admission; $50/two adults; $10/kids 10-16 years; free/under 10.


Friday, September 20th-Saturday, September 21st


Hispanic Heritage Celebration at the Hart Commons in downtown Hart. Friday, 6-10pm and Saturday, 4-10pm.

Saturday, September 21st, 12-5pm


Big Sable Point Lighthouse Bus Tour & Music by Oceania Drive from 1:30-3:30pm. Buses transport visitors from the park ranger's house located just inside Ludington State Park to the lighthouse and back for an additional transportation fee. The round-trip fee is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 & under.


Saturday, September 21st-Sunday, September 22nd, 9am-6pm

Lots of Activities in Scottville, Michigan -- Explore the Riverside Park along the National Scenic Pere Marquette River.
Canoeing or Fishing on the Pere Marquette River -- Many boat liveries offer canoe rentals.
